Mr. Asadullah, , the Project Director of PRSWSSP, visited construction sites in villages (Sochan, Dhaku Chishti & Arifabad) of Tehsil Pakpatan. During the visit, detailed examinations of construction drawings, engineering estimates, BoQs, and contract agreements were conducted. The work done by the civil works contractor was assessed against the specifications outlined in these documents. To ensure quality work, a thorough review of Essential Documents, including Material Testing Reports (Geotechnical, brick, Concrete, Steel, Sewer Pipe, HDPE pipe, etc.), was conducted.
Furthermore, to assess the workmanship in laying the water supply distribution network, the jointing procedure for HDPE pipes was examined. The contractor has been instructed to increase manpower to expedite overall civil works progress, specifically completing Boundary Walls and Operator Rooms within the next 15 days. Additionally, the contractor has been directed to ensure the coverage of all streets in villages, addressing any omissions from the initial plans and surveys.
Emphasis was placed on optimizing the spacing between manholes and promptly covering them upon completion of construction. The PRMSC Pakpattan Tehsil team has been tasked with expediting the issuance of Demand Notices for the timely provision of electricity connections.
