Mr. Asadullah, the Project Director of PRSWSSP, conducted a site visit to monitor the progress of ongoing construction works in four villages of Tehsil Pakpattan. During his visit, he actively engaged with village organizations and local stakeholders, discussing the project's prospects, scope and highlighting the social benefits associated with this initiative, executed by the Government of Punjab with the support of the World Bank.
In response local stakeholders requested the Project Director to expedite the work so that the people may be able to benefit from the services provided by the Project. Mr. Asadullah issued directions to the civil work contractors in the relevant villages to accelerate the construction activities to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure. Furthermore, he directed field formation of the Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) to prioritize activities under the Behavior Change capacity-building component of the project.
